~The Nightmare of Seth and Drey~

I rolled my eyes. "Catchy music. Oh, goody."

I gave him agrin and started leading through the town.
It was way too quiet, so I started humming the theme song. It had always been my favorite out of the movie. But it was kind of odd that the place seemed deserted...

I let Drey hum for a little bit in the quietness of the area, then glared up at him. "Okay, honestly, I'm not in the mood Drey."

"Alright fine," I said, and kept walking.

"Boys and girls of every age
wouldn't you like to see something strange?"

"Honestly Drey, stop singing!" I growled.

OOC: Wanna post the song just for the fun of it?

OOC: Sure, but I don't know all the words...

I stopped, and gave him a look. "I'm not...singing..."
Ghosts appeared beside us in unison. Freaky, frightening ghosts.
"Come with us and you will see
this out town of Halloweeeeeeen."

"Run?" I asked him, a little freaked out, which was odd for me.

OOC: No, I mean the music video, silly.

I shook my head. "Why? We're scarier than this." I responded, not freaked out at all by the issue. Of course, I forgot that Drey couldn't see spirits like me.

OOC: Oh. Then here it is then: I found that creepy-cool one;


They kept singing. "Okay, but now they're just gettin annyoing. Wonder if I could scare them away?"

I shrugged. "Sure, whatever. Hey, I wonder if people are watching us, like we're in the movie?"

I shrugged. "Who knows? That'd be pretty cool though."
At the part where the song says, "Everybody SCREAM!" A giant pumpkin with arms and legs shrieked in my face. I snarled back in it's angrily; I don't exactly take to that kind of thing well. the pumpkin thing leaped in fright and ran away.
"Hey, it worked," I said.

I was rolling on the ground with laughter. "Oh man, that was too good!"

I grinned at the sight of Seth. "Man, I wish I had a camera for THAT."
"That was a spectacular show of fright!" said a new voice, and then the whole place went dark. "But I'm afraid there is only one King of Halloween here."

I looked all around me, then froze, recognizing the voice from the movie. "And that King is you, Jack Skellington, is it not?"

A spotlight appeared, show the skeleton form of the pumpkin king, Jack Skellington.
"Ah, so you HAVE heard of me! Well, I'm not surprised, one being as talented as me." He swept his hands out and stepped down. "Welcome to Halloween town, my friends. I hope you've enjoyed yourselves."

OOC: lol, i never really though about how naive and conceited Jack sometimes is.

OOC: Yeah, well, welcome to the world of Tim Burton.

I smiled and shrugged. "How can we if we just got here?"

OOC: You know, it doesn't matter if you get Jack's personality right or not, I won't mind. Besides, I'm thinking of taking on the role of Oogie, and I don't know his personality very well either.

OOC: I know. I just have this stupid thing about getting it right.

"Hm, right you are! Then let me show you the thrills and chills of Halloween Town!"
"By the way, what are your names?" he asked.
I thought a moment. Hey, it couldn't hurt. "My name is Drey."

I stood tall and puffed my chest proudly. "And I'm Sethstone, but you can call me Seth, too. I'll answer to both."

OOC: You'll notice Seth shows a lot of pride in his cat form, since he's so small compared to everyone else.

OOC: Like Ed!

"Hm, Seth and Drey. Well welcome! Come! I shall show you all there is to see!"

OOC: Yep! Like Ed!

I smiled and nodded. "Sounds cool. Let's go Drey!"

OOC: I finished that picture of their Halloween forms (sorta). I drew Seth laughing below the normal pose. It's adorably funny-cute. I think you'll approve.

I smiled. "Alright, let's go!"

OOC: Umm, skip past the boring stuff and sight seeing things and they come to the Dr.'s house.

"This is the famous Dr. Frankenstein (OOC: Right?)," Jack continued with a dramatic voice. The said Dr. basically ignored them, working intently on his experiment and opening the weird helmet lid to scratch his brain.
"Ew."

OOC: You be Sally...unless you don't want to.

OOC: Next post, okay? I need to think of what she'd say.

I chuckled a little. "Definatley."

OOC: That's fine, whenever.

Jack leaned over the Dr. "Dr, I have some friends I'd like you to meet."
"Not, now, Jack, I'm trying to-" suddenly there was an explosion infront of him that coated the entire desk and wall with black soot.
"Oh, confound it! Never mind." He turned around. "Welcome to my laboratory. Please excuse the mess and hand me that wrench there." He pointed to the large one next to Seth.

"You got it!" I said, and used my tail to grab the wrench and hand it to the Dr. "So I'm curious. What are you working on?"

"oh, nothing, just a little thought I had... say, you look like one of my projects," he said, looking at me. "Have we crossed before?"
I held up my claws nervously. "Um, no I don't think so." Though he isn't far off from the experiment thing.
"Of course he isn't doctor," Jack consoled. "These two are my new friends. Their names are Sethstone and Drey."
