~The Nightmare of Seth and Drey~

"Well, whatever you are, go on! I'm letting you go, you should be accepting my generocity. I don't give it much." He laughed again.

"Um, okay..." I then started walking out of there, staying wary the whole time. The three kids looked up at Oogie. They thought I couldn't hear once I left.
"What do we do about him, boss? He seems to be a big problem if he can sneaka round like that." Barrel asked.

"don't worry too much about him. He'll be useful in time. Now, i'm just dying to meet this Drey fellow. Why don't you boys go and...invite him."

"Right!" they said in unison.
As I began heading towards the trees again, the three caught up to me. "So, can you take us to him?" Shock asked me.
"Who?"
"Drey, of course. Who else?"
"Well... Maybe. If you three behave."
"We will!"
I just rolled my eyes and smiled. "Sure you will..." And the four us went to the holiday trees, laughing the whole way.

BAck to Drey...

So far everything was fine...and rather boring. Sure santa was busy, but nothing else was happening. Not that I wanted him to get kidnapped, but still.

OOC: Is it alright if I take over the kids when they grab Drey? thought that'll have to be tomorrow.

OOC: Sure. I'll just have them arrive.

I had told the kids to wait in a specific spot in order to capture Santa, for I'd found a way to get their minds off of Drey, hopefully. It's not like I wanted Santa to get captured, but if Oogie got his hands on Drey... I shivered at the thought. It wouldn't be good. I entered the workshop, little icicles clinging to my whiskers.
"My freaking god, it's cold out there!"

A few elves came up to Seth with some warm stuff (OOC:I don't really know, just something to warm him up). I watched with a smile. I'm guessing things are alright in Halloween Town.
Then I spotted two of the kids across the street, and they were watching too. I knew these guys were after Santa. It seems they haven't noticed me yet.
I snuck up behind them with my arms crossed. "And what are you kids doing?"
They jumped in fright and spun around a little fearful. "Nothing!"
I raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? You wouldn't happen to be looking for a big man in a red suit, would you?"
They glanced at eachother, then back at me with giggles. "Nope!"
I felt movement behind me, and just as i was turning around I was knocked out cold.

I woke up inside a bag.
"...Mr. Oogie Boogie wants to see you," I heard the girl say. "While we take Sandy Claws to Jack. So be good!" Then suddenly I was falling down a chute, the sound of the little kid's laughing fading away.

OOC: lol. You can take over the kids now if you want.

OOC: Hm, for the moment they'll go along their merry little way. Idk what to do with them right now anyway.


I followed the kids, still wondering how in the world they did this double capture. Those little brats. Oh well, at least I got to sing their song. I followed Drey to Oogie's Manner, and I slid down the chute with him after the kids were gone and hid out again. I had to make sure he was okay.

OOC: Aw, your spoiling my surprise!

I hit the floor into a roll and came to a stop on what looked like a roulette board. "Oh, boy," I said, knowing what was most likely going to happen next.
"Well well well," said a voice I knew pretty well. "So you're the one i've heard so much about." He stepped out of the shadows. "My my, you are a fright."
I stood up and smiled. "Hello, Oogie," I said, using the same tone of voice Jack had during the movie. I think Seth's and mine's presence has totally taken it on a different track now, so we'll see where this goes.

OOC: Then what do you want me to do?

OOC: Um, try to go stop the kids from delivering Santa and convince Jack to stop. Seth should know Drey can take care of himself.

OOC: True... pretend that last post didn't happen.

I used my senses to try and find the kids in Christmas Town. Where the heck were they?!

oogie laughed. "You've got spunk, i'll give you that!"
"Why thank you. Now might I ask why you've had me kidnapped?"
"Wellllll..." he came up beside me and talked in close. "I've got a little proposition for you."
I waited.
"Our friend Jack isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. He can be quite the idiot sometimes."
I couldn't help smiling. He was right at that.
Oogie was encouraged. "He's not fit to be King of Halloween. I would have overthrown him myself, but everyone always sides with him. He had them all rapped around his boney little fingers. I don't have the power to do anything."
Suddenly I had an idea. "So you want me to do it for you."
"Oh, no, I would never ask someone to do that! I simply need your help. I know if you were on myside, they're sure to see the light. And i'll be sure to give you a fabulous reward...say, my right-hand man in power?"
"Hmm," I said slowly, then smiled. "I'm listening."
Oogie laughed. "I knew you were my kind of guy! So here's my idea..."


*meanwhile, the kids arrive where Jack was just putting on his santa costume with the big bulging bag that held the real santa*

I was practically tripping over myself as the kids stopped near Jack.
"Jack, we got him this time!" they said together. I suddenly tumbled into a roll as they said that and nearly ran into Jack.

Jack turned around happily. "Well done, Shock, Lock, Barrel! Bring him over here!" Sally was just uneasily putting the santa hat on his head.

I stood and looked up at Jack as the kids brought Santa closer. "Did I miss anything?"

"Oh, no you're just in time, my friend! I'm about to make my takeoff to deliver Christmas presents!"

OOC:I've already forgotten...who's playing santa?

OOC: Um, you I think.

I lowered my ears and gave Sally an "I don't like this idea either" look, then turned back to Jack. "Look, Jack. You've probably heard this already, but actually, I've come to think this is a bad idea."

"Nonsense! This is a splendid idea!"
"I'm afraid I have to disagree."
Everyone glanced around, looking for the voice, until they finally noticed me standing of the railing of the sleigh, the moon so perfectly at my back for effect. I probably look scary...of course I did that on purpose.

"Drey!" I said, smiling in relief. Thank goodness. Now I'll have someone to back me up.

OOC: We're just going to ignore Santa for the moment...

Jack stared at me in confusion. "Oh! I'm glad you came to see me off, Drey! But...what are you doing up there?"
I grinned the most devilish grin I had in my arsenal. "I'm here to cause a little trouble." I flew off from the sleigh and started smashing some of the presents.
"Wait! Stop! What are you doing?!"

I lowered my ears and growled, claws unsheathed, "What are you doing Drey?! We don't have to stop him like this! Have you gone Fury?!"

"He's listening to me now," came a voice, and out of the shadows came Oogie Boogie.
Jack seemed shocked. "Oogie!"
I glanced over at him. "I thought you said you would come out later."

"What?! why you son of a-!" I snarled.

I glared for Seth to shut up. Oogie laughed.
"Plans have changed, my little bat-like friend. This idea of taking over christmas, why, I like the sound of that."
I narrowed my eyes. I should have suspected something like this. Good thing I did. I crossed my arms.
"So what am I supposed to do, then?"
"Simple; just bring me those presents instead."
I sighed in annoyance and snapped my fingers. I wish this guy new how to make up his mind. The presents in the sleigh, damaged and not, disappeared in a puff of smoke. Jack fell back with a "Whoa!"
"There," I said. "They're all at your hideout."
"Haha, splendid." And then suddenly he was gone with an evil laugh.


OOC: I hate it when I keep changing my mind on how I'm going to do things. Then it ends up lamer than I intended.
