The Misadventures of Seth and Drey

This RPG is pretty open to all. No character sheet is needed, if you want to jump in, by all means hop straight in! It's all going to be mostly ramdom with some connections (though not much), so chaos is welcome! Just remember, forum rules apply: No taking control of other characters, only control your own (which you can have as many as you like), and if your character clashes with another that is not your own, such as fighting, take it one move at a time. Don't just say, I threw him/her/it all around, cuz that's not exactly fair. Give the other character time to react. Other than that, feel free to join and leave at any time! Just remember, it will be for the most part continuous, so if you get left behind, just make a grand re-entrance. Also, Seth and I are in charge, so if we stop, the 'movement' is pretty much on pause.

And so, the midadventures of Seth and Drey begin...

OOC: Ha, now you have to start us out, Seth!
Drey: I can't believe we're actually doing this...

*just laughs*
Sora: Aw, come on Drey, it can't be that bad!


It had been a few years after we'd met Kain the lycan. But now, my father, Arokh, was calling me and Drey. But what for? Another mission? Another bad guy on the loose? What could it be?

OOC: Hey, how about doing this story the way we've kinda been doing the PMs? Cuz that was fun, and i'd like to try it out.

Drey:*walking by Seth* So any idea what your dad needs us for?

OOC: okay, but I'll call him Sora, of course.


Sora: *shrugs* Who knows. Maybe he just wants to officially welcome me home.

OOC: Fine, but i'm still calling him Seth


Drey: Well, then i'll beat him to it: Welcome home!

Sora: *shoves Drey* Shut up.

Drey: *Laughs and shoves back*

Sora: *laughs*


OOC: this is cool, but kinda... weird.

OOC: Yeah, but it'll give us good practice. Bring us closer to our characters. we could try writing the stories this way, to get the raw events down and later go back to add detail. I think i'm gonna try that, with a different story, though.

Drey: *after calming down* so this your place? *Looks up at the grand castle before them*

OOC: Okay, but I'm gonna write the same way.


I nodded. "Yep, this is it." A young Shapeshifter in his cat form stood up. He was a cougar, about half bigger than me. "Greetings, Scourge." He nodded. "Hello, Sora. King Arokh would like to see you." He looked at Drey. "Both of you."

OOC: Yeah, i'll go ahead and return, too. But i'm gonna try that on others.

I nodded my head and followed. here we go.

Scourge opened the door and we walked down the long corridor. I went into my cat form, since everyone seemed to be in that form for this occasion. I stopped a few feet from the throne, where my father was sitting, in his cat form as well. When he rose, he was close to reaching Drey's dragon form size. His yellow-green eyes focused on me, and a wide grin, showing rows of razor-sharp teeth, was thrown at me. "My son returns."
I bowed. "It's great to be home."
Arokh's eyes suddenly narrowed. "Don't say that to soon, Sora." I looked up at him in surprise.

Oh boy, I couldn't help thinking. I decided to remain human, since i didn't have a cat form of my own and i'm my strongest in dragon form; it would be insulting to their trust if i changed.

"Why say that?" I asked stupidly.
"The worlds in our galaxy have fallen under hard times. I want you and Drey to go to them and help out with destroying the remnants of Cyrus's army. It might help in recovering your memory, too."
I sighed. Fantastic. I wonder if I'll be accepted into the worlds again, for some of them I've still left a bad impression on...

I crossed my arms. "Well, this should be fun."

OOC: Whoa, it's like they've switch personalities!

OOC: Probably did while we weren't paying attention.
Sora: I heard that!


"No kidding. Where should we start?"
Arokh smiled. "Do you remember Sauria?"
I raised an eye. "Sauria?"

"Sauria?" i repeated, clueless.

Arokh smiled. "Hahaha, I knew you wouldn't remember. Have fun!"
"What?!" I yelled as a big portal opened up and swallowed us. The last thing I saw was my father laughing.

"Whoa, what the heck?!?!?!" I yelled, being sucked in and drop out. "Your dad sure knows how to throw a surprise party!"

"No kidding!" I yelled back. But in just a matter of seconds, we were standing like we were moments before, only we were in a sort of... barren wasteland. "Whoa, what the...?" A roar was heard in the distance, but it didn't sound like a dragon roar, but something quite familiar. I looked around. "What was that?"

I raised my hands. "Wasn't me."
Suddenly the ground began to shake, then stop. Then shake and again. Then stop.
"Whatever it is, it's big and coming our way."

I sniffed the air, taking in the scent that smelled all too familiar. I looked at Drey. "I've got a bad feeling about this..." Then, the roar sounded again, only it was closer. I looked behind me and saw a T-Rex, much bigger than any dragon I'd ever seen. He had a scar that went from his neck and reached down to his claws, making one of them red. That's when it came back to me. "Redclaw." I gasped. I thought I'd killed him!

"Red who?" I said, turning around too. "Whoa. That's one big dinosaur."

"Redclaw." He roared again, and started charging. "Run." And with that, I bolted.

"I'm right behind you!!" i yelled, running. "By the way, where the heck are we?!"
