The Misadventures of Seth and Drey: Part Two

I nodded. "Okay. We'll wait for you at the portal out of here, if that's okay."

*Kain rolled hi eye's*

K: whatever dude... hey Seth why do they hate lycans anyway i seem to have forgoten

"Who, the Shapeshifters or the Dragons?"

K: i understand the shapeshifters but why dragons?

I bit my lip in thought. "I'm not really sure. You'll have to ask Drey when he gets back."

I opened the door to Darren's office, giving a couple knocks beforehand. I knew the customs well.
He looked up from his papers, his expression giving away nothing. I won't know if he sees right through me until he acts. Suddenly I realized just how risky this was.
"Yes, what is it?"
I kept my anxiety at bay. "I have a message...concerning Prince Dreyden Istalri."
At this he stood up. "Have you found him? Where is he?"
"No, he hasn't been found yet," I said, averting my eyes. "Listen, something is going to happen to him that will change his life forever. There's no stopping it now, but...don't give up, even if there seems to be no hope at all. Don't give up on him, please."
He gave no outward emotion, but this look I knew only too well; I had been found out.
As if to accent my thought, I heard the very subtle click of the lock in the door behind me. Darren had a new expression.
"I had been smelling your scent all over the Academy, and then here. You hide it well. Even now I cannot tell who you are." His eyes was hard, ready to strike. "Now why don't you drop your desguis and let's see what you really look like!" he shouted and lunged for my head, catching me off guard. My disguise fell away and Darren stepped back in pure astonishment.
"Dreyden!?"
"Shit," I cursed, and grabbed his arm, sending a pulse of electricity through him and cutting off all the signals in his limbs. He slumped to the ground, though still conscious.

*Kain knocked on the door*

K: you need any help in there?

I rolled my eyes. "I think Drey can handle himself."

K: well he constantly said what badass's these guys were so i'm just making sure

I'm fine, I said to them. Just remember I'm one of these badass guys as well.
Darren just stared at me, and then he seemd to ragain himself. "What on earth are you doing, messing with time! Did you not learn anything?!"
"Shh!" I hissed at him urgently. "Not so loud, and I know! You've told me a dozen times already."
He stopped for a moment, then narrowed his eyes. "why are you here?"
"I can't tell you that; I can't tell you anything else either. I was only going to say what I've said and get out before anything else."
"You weren't intending to change your past?"
"I had three days' chance to do that," I responded. "I'm over that now."
Silence passed for a moment, then Darren nodded. "I understand. You need to erase my memory now."
I gave a start, then understood. "You're going to forget what I've said, though."
He shook his head. "Then next time I see your face they'll resurface again. Whatever it is, I won't give up."
"See you later," I said, putting my hand to his forehead. "Oh, and sorry about the electric shock."
He just smiled. "Glad to see you've gain control of that." And then he slumped unconscious.
I set him back at his desk and made him think he just fell asleep, and then went back outside.
"That was unessasarily difficult."

K: riiiiiight ok well let's head to the next world

I nodded. "We'd better leave now before someone else finds us." I started towards the portal which we had entered.

*Kain falowed*

I took the rear, stepping in after them.

OOC: i guess it's Kains turn

*the portal opened up in the middle of a lush green forest*

K: great i wonder were we are now

I glanced around. "It isn't anywhere I know I don't think. But this is getting repetitive."
"I beg to disagree," said a voice.
"GAH! ... Kragis!!"
Kragis rises out from my shadow. "Hey again, boss!"
"Quick calling me boss! And how many times have I told you not to pop out of nowhere?!"

I chuckled a little, then took in my surroundings. Surrokumon appeared next to me in human form. I almost fell backwards since I didn't recognize him immediatley. "What the hell-?!"
Surroku smirked. "Did I scare you?"
"No, I'm just wondering when the heck you gained a human form."
Kuroi just laughed inside my head.

K: uuuuuuuuuuuuum...... ok

OOC: Um, Flames? It's your world this time.

OOC: i know but i'm not realy sure how to responed to the whole Kragis and Surrokumon showing up thing

K: well unless you guys still have some catching up to do i think we should start our search

*Kain started walking around until he saw they were near an old pond that was near hidden by the woods*

K: hmmm i've seen this somwere.... wait! dont tell me were....... oh god

OOC: We weren't expecting you to, really.

I looked at the pond, with Surroku looking over my shoulder. "What is it?"

K: well just falow the patern first we went to your past then we went to Dreys past so were do you think we are now

"Oh, boy," I muttered.
"Hey, do we get to see puppy Kain?" Kragis snickered.

K: i hope not i'm ot looking forward to seeing my old self *sigh* but i guess we dont have a choice so lets go

*Kain started walking until he could see the lycan kingdom exept i seemed a little different*

K: well here we are, sence anything yet Seth?

I closed my eyes for a few seconds, letting myself enter the aura world. I opened my eyes. "It's very faint, but there's definatley a key here."
