The Misadventures of Seth and Drey: Part Two

"Oh, right. I knew that."

I nodded, surprised that Kain understood. "Besides, we can't take it now at this time; Kira has to see it first, because that's when I was able to tell her about my childhood." And when she made me realize how much I loved her, I added to myself. That was something I never wanted to change.

I shook my head. "Don't worry, I've got an idea of how to work this out." Then, using my powers of... whatever it was, I took the energy of the key from the stuffed animal, and a ball of light sat there in my hands. I looked at drey and smirked. "See, nothing to worry about."

OOC: Awwww, I wanted to take them to the future/past where Kira is!

OOC: You still can... After we meet the next elemental deity. That okay?

OOC: Okay, but I don't have a reason why they need to be there, though.

I nodded in relief. "Thanks Seth. That means a lot to me." I picked up the stuffed animal, smiling a bit. This room was the only place where all there was is happy memories.

K: so enething else we need to do before we go

"Well, we should be meeting one of the elemental deities, but..." Suddenly, the key in my hands burst into a brilliant light, and once again we were transported to the world of the deities. I looked around to see a large wolf sitting there, writing in a book of some sort. Then, he looked up, closed the book, and came over to me.
"Ah, the Lord of Spirits has come to my part of the Elemental Plains at last. Welcome. I am Jiikan, Lord of time."
"It's a pleasure Jiikan."
He looked behind me. "I see that Valon and Kain are with you."

K: another one of these guys?

I turned to Kain. Every time I found one of the keys, one of them was released." I said, pointing to Jiikan. "If I don't release them, the keys will be useless."
Jiikan nodded. "Correct. Now, I don't have much time, for I have other matters to attend to." He walked towards me and placed a paw on my forehead. I could feel energy pour into me as he spoke. "I shall give you the power of Veil of Mist, the ability to slow down time and move faster than your foes." He took his paw away, and I nodded in respect. He looked at Kain and Drey. "Any questions before I must depart?"

K: well if you can tell use were the other keys might be then yes

Jiikan shook his head sadly. "I wish I could be of help with that, but since we all have been trapped for so long, I fear we've lost connection with those still encased in the keys. However, you all only have one last deity to release, but be warned. All the keys you have, you must keep away from the Heart of Darkness, for who knows what Sevukon would do to us then..."
I sighed. "We kind of already figured that out."

K: well Drey anything else you need to do before we leave

"No, not r-" I stopped in mid-sentence. "Yeah, one more thing before we leave this time period."

I turned to Drey as we went back into the normal world and Jiikan disappeared. "Alright, what is it?"

"This is just my instints taking over, but...I need to go see Darren."

I crossed my arms. "I hope you're not planning anything... destructive to history."

I gave a kind of grin. "I hope so too. Don't worry, I don't plan on giving future events away or where the younger me has gone to. There's just...something I need to tell him. I feel like I'll never be at ease unless I do." Which is odd, because it came on so sudden.

I blinked. "What do you need to tell him?"

I hesitated a moment. "I need to tell him...to not give up, even when it seems hopeless." Because I'm sure it seemed that way when they were trying to save me. "He won't understand until the time comes, which is fine."

"You're going to sound like a prophet or something."

I smiled jokingly. "That's the idea."

I shook my head. "Alright, let's go."

*Kain just noded and falowed*

I followed Darren's scent; he was still in the castle today. Though I didn't need to really. He was in his office. I stopped before going in.
"You two should wait outside. He'll see right through us and though he won't be bothered by Seth he'll be extremely concerned about finding a lycan in the castle."
