The Misadventures of Seth and Drey

I jumped back, too. "What the...?"
The kids cowered behind me.

OOC: Hey, i just looked it up, and yes, Spryo 3D is an OFFICIAL movie with REAL actors that's going to be FILMING EVERYWHERE AROUND THE GLOBE. Yeah. And they're filming it right at this very moment (not really, but they're still filming, so it might be out a little later than planned)

I started trembling. I didn't know why. My legs suddenly just grew shaky, like fear was suddenly taking me over. What the heck just happened?

OOC: I don't even know what happened...

OOC: yay!

I started growling, my hackles raised and my teeth bared. I unsheathed my claws and growled, "The Howling."

OOC: Don't worry, I'll make something up.

I looked at him. "That what?" Kragis trembled.

OOC: i gotta call it quits for tonight. See ya tomorrow!

OOC: Aww, okay, see ya tomorrow!


"The Howling." I looked everyone in the eye until my gaze landed on Drey. "The Howling are demon bounty hunters who search for creatures like us. Creatures who were evil, but have betrayed their masters. They're searching... for us."

"So then this thing was calling to them?" I asked. "Then that would mean..." suddenly it clicked. "Seth, we have to get these kids away from us."

I nodded. "We have to find their parents."
Littlefoot looked up at me with wide and sad eyes. "But... Will we ever see you again?"
I smiled. "Of course, I promise."

I smiled too. "We're just going to have to leave for the moment." Then i turned back to him. "I try to spot them from above." Then took to the skies.

Petrie was clinging to my foreleg, shaking in fear. "That was scary. But now what do we do?"
"We cannot stay here, oh no, no, no." Ducky replied.
I just stood there, my head facing where Dreyden took off. Dreyden, hurry, I can sense more coming.

I scanned ahead. They're not far, about two miles north. Looks like they got rid of that Redclaw guy.

I sighed. Good, wait there, I'll bring the kids. All right guys, let's go." I looked back at Surrokumon and Kragis. "You guys, too."

"Good, for a while i thought you guys had forgotten about us," Kragis said sarcastically.

OOC: and for a while i had!

Alright, hurry. I flew down and landed near the adults.
"Hey, we're really sorry, but Seth and I have to go right now. The kids are on their way. We have someone or something after us and we really don't want them in danger."

The adults started talking amongst them selves, and we had just arrived when Littlefoot's grandfather exclaimed, "It's a good thing you warned us. We'll take the children from here." And with a few goodbyes and one last glare from Cera's father, they headed back to the Valley. That's when I sensed them. I turned around and saw them. The Howling had come.
"Brace yourselves." I warned.
"I can't believe I'm fighting against the ones I used to lead." Surrokumon mumbled.

OOC: OOH! Yeah, that is! Haha, gives me goosbumps.

I spun around. "Seth, what should I expect? I've never encountered the Howling...at least i don't think i have."

OOC: We should have the new "leader" be after Drey and Kragis! ...since Surrokumon was after Seth.

OOC: That's true. The leader will be after Seth, too, of course, but mainly after Drey. Idk about Kragis. They didn't go after Surrokumon... not yet.


I looked at Drey. "When I lost my memories, I encountered the Howling and chased them off." I looked over to Surrokumon.
"Yeah, I still have that scar you gave me, nitwit."
I just smirked.

I looked to Surrokumon, and just said, "Oh."
Then i saw them. Like a giant black tsunami, an army of shadows heading for us. A fresh wave of fear hit me hard, and i couldn't understand why.

I transformed into a cat and bared my teeth. I unsheathed my claws and started growling. I was ready, and this time I wouldn't be chasing them off. this time, I'd be destroying every last one of them.

I shook off my fear and followed Seth's lead. Whatever these things were, they weren't going to take us down.
Suddenly I was attacked from behind. Three...whatevers leaped onto my back and nearly shoved me off ballance. They dug claws and talons through my scales, and I was surprised that it actually hurt. I did a 360 and threw them off, then checked the damage.
Geez, i was already bleeding. Now i'm mad.

I charged forward and lunged at four of The Howling. The first three I just slashed away with my claws, but the fourth one was tough. It lunged at me. I dodged, turned around, and bit it in the throat while it was still in midair. Okay, maybe it wasn't that tough. More were coming. I raced towards them, leaving electricity and ice wherever I stepped. Surrokumon was right beside me, tense and ready for battle.

Kragis turned into his shadow form of a dragon, making him almost look like the Howling. Almost. The difference was in the eyes, seing as Kragis really had no mouth and his eyes were white.
I roared, and charged foreward, leaving a path of destruction (or whatever happens to the things when they go down) behind me.

OOC: Do you want to be the leader or can i?

OOC: You can be the leader, since I'm controlling the former one.

"Seth, we have to find the leader. He's the only way we can get rid of them. Otherwise, they'll just keep coming."
I nodded and looked back at Drey and Kragis. "Guys, split up and find the leader! He'll be the only one that speak and wil have the darkest aura!"
And with that Surroku and I split, trying to find the leader while destroying other shadows along the way.

Almost immediately after they left, a dark suffocating presence appeared behind me.
"Hehehe. Don't they know it's better to attack in groups?"
Before i could turn around a large claw swiped around my back, sending me sideways with a tremendous force.
"Drey!"
Kragis stood be me as i rolled back to my feet. Standing before me was, surprise, the shadow version of a dragon way bigger than kragis and probably bigger than me.
"Are you Dreyden Istalri?" the thing growled at me.
"Who wants to know?" I growled back.
It grinned. "The creator of the Dark Ones." (OOC: Changed the name. Dark Hearts sounds to wierd when i pronounce)
I don't know why, but that name suddenly struck a chill in me...and anger.
Then i noticed him examining my face and the scar on my chest, and he laughed. "Ha, I've found you!" And it lunged.

"Drey!" I ran towards him and knocked the shadow over. Then Surrokumon and I stood together with Drey and Kragis. "Actually yeah, we do know it's better to attack in groups." I retorted.

The thing laughed. "No matter. I have a mission to fullfill. If you're smart you'll stay back...but you're not smart, are you?"
Suddenly it seemed all the shadows multiplied, and blocked Seth's and Surrokumon's way. Kragis growled menacingly and burst into his full Shadow form.
"Let's take him down," he snarled.
I stared at him. Wow, I've never seen him this worked up. But i gave him a dark grin. "Alright, partner."
We stood at the leader's 10 and 2 o'clock positions, and rushed at him, Kragis in the lead. He leapt up, feigning an open attack and left me an opening to cut the creature across the mid-section.
At least, if it had worked.
"Kragis!"
I skid to a stop as Kragis was suddenly thrust to one side and rolled to a stop, gash marks of oozing red looking extremely strange and unnatural against his shifting black body. Kragis lifted his head and was shocked. "Wh-wh-what the...?"

Suyrrokumon and I lashed some of the shadows away, and I looked over to see Kragis wounded. "The Howling can wound anything!" was all I could get out before more shadows attacked me.
