The Misadventures of Seth and Drey

"Kragis, you okay?" i said after getting Seth's message.
"Yeah," he said, wincing. "I never knew something could hurt so much..."
I felt a wash of empathy come over me. "Don't be going on me," i said in undertone.
"I thought you're always trying to get rid of me?"
"Yeah, well, that's just cuz you're annoying. But the truth..."
"You don't have to say it," he grinned. "Besides, Darcore made us tougher stuff than this."
"Don't remind me."
Suddenly he looked at me in all seriousness. "Don't let that thing take you Storm. Use the Fury if you have to."
I smiled. "Since when do you give me advice?"
He laughed, and transitioned into the ground. "Don't get caught."
"See you in a bit," i said, and turned to face the leader.
And got shoved into the ground.
"What useless words," he said. "As if you can get away from me."
I roared and threw him off. "Don't think just because you caught me off guard you can take me down," I hissed.
"Oo, very evil. Yes, you make a fine addition to the Master's collection."
"What?"
"You're other little friend, Kragis was it? He might make a good addition as well."
I could feel the Fury coming on. "What the hell are you talking about?!"

Surrokumon was handling the shadows, and came over next to Drey. "Remember, they're trying to capture us. Probably going to take us to Sevukon." I tried hard not to think of my life as the monster 23. Yeesh, it was a horrible life, trust me.

My eyes widened, then i snarled. "So that's what this is about," i snarled. My eyes were slowly turning blood-red; i've never gone into Fury form as a dragon. "Well, we can't let that happen, can we?"
The leader laughed. "Oh my, this is way more than i expected! Perhaps i have a challenge? Good. Finally a legitamate Dark One to capture. Two, in fact, but let's take things one at a time. My mission is you, Dreyden Valon Istalri."
What?! "How do you know that name?!"
He laughed again. "The Great Lord knows everything."

I growled, "Oh good god, you're strength is probably both of our strengths together! Come on, let's do two-on-one. Seems fair, since you guys did a thousand-on-one with me."


OOC: Hey, should we have Drey know about Seth being project XD001, or should we wait a bit longer?

OOC: Let's wait until things calm down first and they can get away. After they can all rest in the next world...before Drey gets kidnapped!

I growled in agreement. "Double Fury?"

I looked at Drey with my evil Fury grin. "The more power, the better."

I returned the grin, and burst from my dragon form in full Fury, eyes now glowing white. A dark cloud began radiating around me in long whip-like tendrils. I shared the power coming off of me with Seth, feeding his own dark energy.
"Just to warn you now, without Kragis I'll need a little help recovering from this form," i said, my voice echoey.

OOC: Ooh, i just gave myself chills! I've never used Drey's full Fury form. Wow, the image i have in my head looks so cool...!

OOC: I know, right?!

I absorbed the dark energy, and stood beside Drey, my teeth still stained with blood from my last kill. "It's time for the Howling to go down for good!"

"Hehe, lets what promises you two will give us!" the shadow said and leaped into the air. I leaped after him, clashing talons and claws. Both of us were leaving deep marks in eachother, but neither of us would let go. But I worked around a strategy. In my fullest Fury form, i get instant esp awareness of the strongest type...and found this creature's weakness imediately.
His back is open, i called to Seth. When i pull out, get him. Electrically charged ice should do.

Got it! I leaped up into the air and stayed there, ready to attack.

I tried to wait for the right moment. Our altitude was slowly falling. Just a little more...
Suddenly the shadow dragon snaked his head through my defenses and bit down on my neck. I howled in pain, and started hearing something crack. Hot blood poured down my back, and a burn jolt ran through my entire body. I had to break free now!
I release a burst of electricity, shocking him for the split second i needed to disengage from his clutches. With what will power i could muster i tore myself from his grip, recieving even more muscle-deep gashes as a consolation.
"Now!" I cried as i began to fall.

I came down and landed on the shadow. I dug my claws into his back, and bit him on his weak spot... The back of the neck, with ice and electricity pouring into the creature's vains.

The leader howled once and vanished in a puff of smoke, taking the rest of the Howling along with him. I landed in a large crater and a puff of smoke, so in pain i couldn't move. The gashes were deep, and i think my nervous system was shot. Everything hurt. And i was even still in full Fury form.

I ran over to Drey and slid down into the crater. I kneeld next to him, my own Fury gone. "Drey, are you alright?"

"I've been better," i said, and groaned. Now the stinging begins. "When Darcore was creating the ultimate creature, i guess he didn't think of putting the Howling into the equation. That guy almost sliced me like butter."

I nodded. "Yes, when I was created, though, my master made me strong against the Howling." I looked at his wounds. "Would you like me to heal that?"

"Nah, they'll heal on their own. But i need to get out of this form; it's sapping my strength now."
That was when Kragis reappeared. It couldn't have been better timing.
"Hey, is the fight ov-- wah! Drey!"
He rushed over to me and place a hand to my chest, pushing the Fury back inside. I returned to the dragon form i had arrived in this world in.
"Dude, seriously, what the heck happened?" Kragis demanded. "I that guy was strong, cuz he wounded me, but you...?! In full Fury...?!"
"We'll discuss this later. Right now we need to get off this world. That guy isn't gone, not yet. I can still feel traces of him." I winced as i tried to get up. The wounds were deep, deeper than any i had ever recieved. They'll take a little more time to heal than normal.

I grabbed Drey and helped him up. "Well, we at least need to heal your wounds a little. They're worse than I thought."
"What's worse than you thought?" I turned around to see Skipper leaning casually against as rock, a smirk on his face.
"Skipper?! What the heck are you doing here?!"
"Just wanted to tag along."
"I guess..."

"Well, surprise surprise," i managed a chuckled. "You know, I don't think you and Kragis have been properly introduced."
Kragis nodded and grinned. "Nice ta meet ya!"

OOC: i'm gonna go to bed now. Mom's decided we're going to go get cuts tommorow. Plus i'm tired now.

OOC: Just about to say the same thing. G'night!


Skipper nodded back. "Hiya! Name's Skipper Lakuchi. Pleased to met you."
"Great," I mumbled, "Now we're going to have two idiots with us."

"Well, even idiots come in handy sometimes." I stretched as my natural healing powers finally kicked in, and the big gashes started sewing themselves up, though rather slowly. "That reminds me, I wonder how my brother is doing in his coronation training."

"Probably just fine." I replied, amost lost in thought about me being project 23. That was the last thing I wanted Drey to know.

"Hey, aren't we supposed to be leavin, considering it seems we're being hunted by a deadly force that could very easily take Drey and me out?" Kragis interrupted.

Skipper nudged me back to reality. "Um, yeah." I answered, slowly coming back to reality.

I stared at Seth carefully. Something was nagging him, something about our present situation that he's not telling me. But that would have to come later; our suroundings just grew darker. The Howling is returning for another go.
And Kragis and I still hadn't quite recovered.
"Time to leave," I said. "I guess now is as good a time as ever to try something new i learned." I turned one direction, facing away from everyone, and started generating sparks of electricity. My eyes turned a bright violet, almost like Seth's.
Right in front of me formed a large ring of spinning bolts of electricity.
