Yeah, but when I last loved someone, I... I couldn't bring myslef to think it or say it. Eventually, I sucked it up and finished by saying, Killed them.

Oh... I'm... i'm so sorry. That must have been terrible. But don't let past mistakes bind you. She let his paw go and smiled. Just give it some thought. Think of other possiblities.
I smiled with my back turned. Good, sweet old Kira.
I broaden out my scenses to see if the other little monsters were about, and sensed them both nearby. I looked up, and spotted Garreth on one of the chandaliers...above Seth and Shylo. The brown-scaled baby dragon grinned mischiefly.
I gave my warning face and shook my head firmly.
Of course he didn't listen.
"Seth look out!" I said and lunged out as the chandalier came crashing down.

"Whoa!" I jumped out of the way, while Drey pushed Shylo. "Mischievious little monsters, aren't they?" I looked at Shylo with a smirk. "Notb as bad as you were." "Oh, shut up."

Garreth was laughing hysterically in the air. I jerked my head his way angrily, and he stopped. He knew he was in trouble.
I jumped into the air in dragon form and caught him in my mouth before he could get away. Garreth gave a little squeak and a squirm, then quit. I brought us both back to the ground and spat him out.
"You know your not supposed to do that, Garreth!" i scolded crossly. "You could have hurt someone!"
Garreth hunched down lowered to the ground, trembling guiltily. He didn't think someone could have gotten hurt. "Sorry," he mumbled to the floor.
I sighed, and licked his head in forgiveness. "Tricks are only okay if it's not to strangers and no one will be hurt from it, okay?" He nodded. "Now appoligize."
Garreth turned around and faced Shylo and Seth. "I'm sorry," he said, bowing his snout low.

I stood and laughed. "It's okay. We've had worse happen." "Yeah, right." I snapped a lookat Shylo, making him freeze. He smiled and said, "I mean, yes, of course." "Hm, much better."

Garreth looked a little happier. I chuckled and shook my head.
"Now if only the third one would appear, i can introduce you to my family properly."
Right at that moment, little Sierra appeared from behind one of the tall stone pillars.
I smiled and turn back into a human. "Come on over here," i beckoned, and she came skipping shyly.
"Alright, Seth. This is Garreth, Drake, and my youngest, Sierra. Kids, this is my friend Sethstone. He's the one who helped me to come back."
The three stared wide-eyed, and for a moment i hoped that was all they would do. But then they proved me wrong by going and practically climbing all over them.
"You brought Dad back?"
"Where did you come from?"
"You smell funny."
"Why are you purple?"
I couldn't help but laugh.

I started laughing as well. "That's a lot of questions to answer at once. One at a time, one at a time."

OOC: Photo bucket. except the blue dragon, i took that from u. Sierra's and Drake's human pictures are absolutely EXACT, i was completely dumbfounded when i found them.


Drake clambored onto Seth's back. "You're big," he said, while Garreth went underneath and Sierra just stared big eyes.

"Yes, well, where I come from my species of dragon are humongous!" Especially the Disturbia. I added to myself. My left eye, the one with scar, twitched. That usually happened when I thought of the Disturbia. Don't know why, but it was an odd reaction. Shylo walked over to me. "Well, I'm about the same age as you guys, and I'm still bigger than you!" "Oh please, Shylo, this is no time to brag!"

"Wanna bet?" Garreth said from underneath, and started growing in size.
I slapped my hand to my face.

I moved out of the way as Garreth grew bigger. Shylo's eyes went wide. "H-how?" I couldn't help but laugh. "It's the way their kind works. get used to it. Of course, I bet you guys can't transform into something besides a human or dragon."

Both boys scowled as they shook their heads.
"I can," Sierra said, which was the first time she had spoken here. She had a soft, sweet voice like her mother. Sierra closed her eyes in concentration, and turned into a cat. Kira smiled.

"Not bad. What about this?" After getting Drake off of my back, I transformed into a large, pure white wolf, my eyes changing from purple to a bright yellow. "Can you take this form?"

She cocked her head in curiosity, and then closed her eyes agian. Sierra had to really focus for this one. Then her cat form turned into an exact replica of Seth. "Like this?"
Kira smiled bigger. "Very good, Sierra!"

" A natural Shapeshifter! Let's try another. Hm.... how about this one now?" I then morphed into a Saber-toothed tiger, and my eyes changed to green.

Sierra quivered. "I-I can't do that one..." Kira placed her hand on her head. "It's alright, sweety."
"Sierra's the only one who hasn't inherited my dragon genes," i explained. "But Kira's grandmother was a Soreceress, and so far she's taken more to her mother's side. It's still too soon to decide whether she's half dragon or not, though."
"Sis is awesome!" Drake chimed.

I transformed back into my cat form and walked over to Sierra. "You're pretty good. I must say, I'm impressed." "Huh, that's a first." I turned around and growled at Shylo. He shrank back. "Well, it's true." I relaxed, and turned back to Sierra. "It's okay if you can't transform into everything. Even as a Shapeshifter, I have my limits to what I can transform into." "Unfortunatley."

Sierra gave a little smile. "You're nice. I like you."
I smiled too.

"Thanks. I like you too." Shylo scratched at his face... with his foreleg. I shook my head and sighed. "Of course, we sometimes have wierd habits. And they're mostly very human-like habits." As I said that Shylo stopped and laughed nervously.

Sierra giggled. Drake and Garreth sniggered.
"Hey," Drake suddenly said. "Let's go play outside!"
"Yeah! Race you to the courtyard!" Garreth and Drake took off, with Sierra running after them yelling, "Wait for me!"
I smiled after them admiringly. "Kids. Wonderful things, but they sure are a handful."
"I'm sure you and Adriane were the same way," Kira said. Falcon snorted.
"Oh yeah! You should have seen us! We-" he stopped talking when i looked at him, but snickered.

Shylo and I looked at each other, and laughed after a couple of seconds. "So, now what?" I asked. "Well, I'm gonna go play with them. See ya!" Shylo then ran off yelling, "Hold on, I'm coming, too!" I smiled and shook my head.

I smiled and then looked at Kira. "Well, those are my friends, though i hadn't met Shylo until they popped up at HQ."
"They're nice," she said, then felt a little concern. "But they're so young..."
I laughed. "So you're already used to the centuries-old thing now?" She frowned at me and punched me in the shoulder. I grinned.
Then she smiled too. "Go on and play with them; the kids have been dying to show you all they've learned now."
"Cloud and I will go ahead and search for leads on Darcore," Falcon prepared to take off. "You spend as much time as you can with your family; you never know when you'll see them again."
Kira walked up before they took off and kissed each in turn on the cheek. "It's good to have you both back," she said with a smile.
Falcon looked away in a scowl, blushing. "Well, um, it's, erm, good to be back." And then he took off. Cloud shook his head. "Same old Adriane." And went after him.
Let me know as soon as you get a lead. I called to them.

And then i too, went out into the courtyard, where all three were playing a game. When i saw what they're were playing, i couldn't help but burst out laughing. They're reinacting the final battle in the last war with Darcore, with major exageration on the roles Kira and I played.

I walked over to Drey as Shylo was learning the rules of the game. "You've got such a nice family. It's too bad I never really had one. No father, no mother." I looked at my friend. "You're lucky."

"Yeah, i guess i am," i admitted. "But don't feel so bad. You're on your way. Whether it be one way or another, everyone with a good heart finds happiness. And you have an exceptionally good heart." I grinned, and ducked as Garreth went whizzing over my head.
"Is that all you got?" he called back in an overexagerated deep voice.
"Not at all!" Sierra called back, and made a little hand sign. Garreth came charging at her, then suddenly was thrown back by an invisible force.
He sat up. "Hey! no fair!" Sierra grinned.
I gave a start. "When did you learn that, Sierra?"
She looked my way. "Mom taught when when they wouldn't stop pulling pranks on me."
i shook my head and laughed.

"Hey, guys, can you turn invisible?" Shylo asked excitedly. "Oh, no..." I groaned, slapping a paw to my head. "Here we go again."
