The Misadventures of Seth and Drey

Yeah, I agree. He can control the dragons like a well-trained dog. But I wonder if he can control the Fury? I grinned.

I just scowled. Don't get too cocky, kid. I could smell very dark powers on him. It seemed as if he could control the element of fear.

*kain called up to the guards*

K: hey tell your master to get his butt out

I'm not getting cocky. I'm dead serious about this. No one in existance has yet to control what Darcore created, not even himself. If this guy can pull that off, then that means he's even more of a threat than both Darcore AND Koschei. And who're you calling kid?
We reached the city. "Slow down so they don't think we're coming for an attack," Garth said.

I smiled, and then slowed down. Alright,you can get off of me now. Joy ride is over.

K: man what took you guys so long?

Garth got off and went up to the door. The guards that had been ignoring Kain came out to meet him.
He held up his liscense. "We're here to deliver a gift to the Master."
The guard looked over at me and his eyes buggged out. "Is that--?"
"Yes. He's not quite under control yet so it's important we see him immediatly."
I took the hint. I growled and started pulling at the chain, hoping Seth had a good enough hold that it wouldn't slide out.

Don't take this seriously. I then pulled on the chain with my fangs and growled, "Stop trying to break free, or I'll break your legs and wings!"

don't take this seriously either. I stopped, lowered my head and cowered, letting out the perfect whine.
The guards ate it up. "o-of course! This way, please!"
We followed, only now Garth was staring strangely at me and Seth.
I rolled my eyes. It was an act, kid.

*kain walked bewside them*

K: not bad even i almost bought it

Skipper turned into his wolf form and began walking next to me and Drey. "Wow, you guys make a good team!"
I glanced at my friend. "Why not? We've been friends for a long time. And we've been through worse hell than this together."

I answered Kain. Well, when you're almost 1600 years old you pick up a few things.
Ever so subtly, I began to feel that compelling urge once again. in defense I shut my mind off to everything but Kragis.
Now? he asked.
Not yet. If it ever seems like I'm hesitating, then you do it.

I just kept walking. I knew what Drey was talking about, but I kept my mouth shut. Skip, Kain, and Garth would just have to see for themselves.

K: so garth were is this guy?

"I believe these gentle men will take us to a room, and then he'll come to us," he said, still trying to keep up the act. The pressure to run to the source was growing stronger; my wings started to tremble.
The guards had us all stopped in the middle of what looked like a big fancy gymnasium, and told us all to wait. I dugged my claws into the ground and tried to hold still.

I looked at Dreyden. "Nervous?"

K: hey drey you ok you look like you've seen a ghost or somthing

I opened my mouth to say something, but couldn't. I was putting all my energy into trying not to move. don't let go, I thought to myself, knowing Seth would be able to hear. Not until you see me transforming.
And then the master entered the room. "Welcome, my honored guests."

*kain glared at him*

I put the chain under my paw so I could speak clearly. "Sir, we are terribly sorry for destroying the place before. I have seen the error of my views, and I present you with this human/dragon hybrid as a gift of my apologies." I looked at everyone and secretly gave them a wink.

"Ah," he said, his arms opened in an embracing gesture. "Appology accepted, my new friend. We are forgiving people, and will accept your gift."
he started walking towards me. "Just a moment please so I can tame this beast to follow my orders, and we can all go somewhere to relax and enjoy the city."
His hand was outstretched, and I swallowed. he was gong to put it to my forehead again.
then Kragis sprung out of my Shadow and in front of me. The Master jumped back in surprise (and so did Garth), retreiving his hand.
Kragis grinned at him. "Surpise!" Then put a Shadowy hand to my chest.

I took my paw off of the chain. "I forgot to mention though, you can't have his Fury. Not while I'm alive."

I pulled back on my hind legs and let out a roar of relief as the dragon side of me receded and the Fury took over. Garth watched in horror as I transformed, and so did the Master.
"did it work?" Kragis asked.
"The pressure's gone," I said, ripping the collar off. Then I turned my gaze to the Master and gave a cocky grin. "You wanna try that again? Go ahead. Try to control me. You might lose that hand though."
Garth trembled and got behind Seth. "Wh-what happened to him?"

K: whatever happend i like it

I looked at Garth. "Drey has a demon inside him called the Fury. He'd be better at explaining it than I, however. But for now, stay close to me, kid." I looked at the master and grinned, showing my razor-sharp wolf teeth, and started growling.
