The Misadventures of Seth and Drey

OOC: i've got one word....... yipy!!!

OOC: lol. Icy mountains again.

OOC: yipy!!! i could have sworn we have been here before

K: yah good thing

OOC: Now, we wait for Drey, only I won't be on for the rest of the week until at least July 7th. I can't take my computer to horse camp. Meanwhile, let's take this conversation to PM's.

OOC: Oh no, how expecteeeeed...! Seth got that video from me, btw

I looked at seth, sensing what was probably going to happen. Oh boy.
Then I looked at Garth. "What about him? We can't just leave him here."
His eyes widened again. Apparently dragons aren't expected to show kindness.

*kain stood there waiting*

OOC: You know who I'm expecting to jump in, don't you Drey?


I looked at Garth. "We'll take him with us. After all, he's probably always wanted to serve a Shapeshifter." I said jokingly.

"But...aren't you worried I'm going to turn you in?" he said.
I eyed him. "Garth, have you seen the dragons in the shelter?"
"Well, I...that is...no."
Hmm. I reach out my hand and touch one finger to his forehead. Garth jump in surprise at first, but I had him in my projection range. Then I showed him my recent memory of the place.
His eyes grew wide with shock and horror when I drew away. "You see now why I want to release them?"

K: well if it's so bad why are we still here we need to go

"Although I hate to admit it, Kain's right. We need to get going. Who do you want to travel with, Garth?" I asked as Skipper already started heading that way.

*kain stood there ready*

Garth swallowed and took us all in his gaze. "You can't just go bursting into Central with all that you guys have. There are more wards around that building a hundred times more powerful than the one you guys encounter. And the security system is so tight, an ant couldn't even get in without getting caught."
"Then what do you suggest we do?" I asked.
"I have a plan," he continued, more confidently this time. "But," he looked at me, "you're not going to like it."

K: i think i already like it

K: what are you going to make him do?

"well, here's my plan: the only way we're going to get in is if the master thinks we're bringing him what he wants."
"So I'm playing bait."
"Well, yes," he said. "But...the only way to actually convince him to let us in..."
I noticed what he had in his hands, fiddling with uncomfortably. A black collar.
Suddenly Kragis burst out laughing. I growled.
"No way in Hell amd I wearing a collar!"

K: oh dont be such a wuss besides it's a small sacrafice to save many

"I'll do it." I spoke up. "I've worn collars before, when I was a 'house cat' with Sevukon. The master can't tell I'm a Shapeshifter if I'm in dragon form, right?"

K: it could work but unless you can make yourself look exactly like dreyden i dont think it will work

"Yes, but I have a bad feeling it's not just Dreyden he wants. I could feel the master trying to get to me too. He acts just like Sevukon, and that worries me. He might be wanting both of us, not just Drey."

K: aw you guys are lucky i never have eney one out to kill me

This time, I shook my head. "It won't work, Seth. Yeah, he might be after you, but he's set on getting me no matter the cost. He's not just after me because I'm a dragon. He's after what's inside me, what he glimpse when he tried to break into my head."
"Wait, you mean he saw the FUry?" Kragis said.
"What's the Fury?" Garth asked, staring at me.
"Something the Master is going to wish he never tapped into...wait a minute..." The Fury isn't a dragon, not quite anyways. And I've never been controlled in it before. I wonder... "Kid, I think you're plan just might work."

K: i'm listening

"I'm in too. What's the catch here?" For some reason, I felt a bond with Garth. I stared at him for a couple of minutes. Could he possibly be? No, probably not. I shook my head and returned my attention to Drey.

Garth nodded, surprised. "You mean you'll go along with it?"
I sighed. "Yeah. Do I need to be in dragon form or is this fine?"
"Well, the collars are only disigned to fit dragons..." he cut off when I started morphing. "Whoa, you're big."
I snorted. "Just get this over with. And not a single word to Adriane," I growled, pointed a claw at everyone else in turn.
He talked as he buckled the collar around my neck. "We'll have to keep up the act until we reach the control center; that's where he's going to be keeping the machine that controls the dragons. If we destroy that we can deactivate what's controlling the dragons. Master Seth, and I will have to pretend we're given you to the Master as a gift."
The sound of a click said it was on. I shook my neck, feeling the unnatural ring rattle against my scales.

K: and what about me i'm dieing to blow some stuff up i have some new moves you guys dont know about

"You can blow up the 'machine' and whoever decides to kill us," I said, itching at the collar again. "I've got a little surprise for the master of my own," I grinned.
