The Misadventures of Seth and Drey

I growled in disappointment. This was not good at all. "You think I could meet him?"

*kain wanderd until he found the city*
K: there it is
*kain walked into the city looking around at all the people*

"But of course! But first, rest and a tour of our city. And i'm sure you'll want to get your dragon back."
The elevator stopped and the doors opened. before them was a grand master suite, with a huge balcony that over-looked the city and...(OOC: Just think of Shark Tale)
Garth hand Seth a little button buzzer. "Just press that when you're ready to go, and i'll come straight for you."


The dragons retreated, and i relaxed a bit. I never thought I'd see the day when i'd be mauled by my own kind, and it looks like it'll stay that way.
I looked at the black who had saved me. "Thank you," I told him, and sat down.
"You're welcome. I appoligize for these young ones. They've been starved for so long it didn't matter what smell came off you.
"But i am curious, why do you appear in that form? And why is the human scent off you so strong?"
I glanced quickly at the other dragons. "I not exactly from this world," I whispered quietly.
"What? You saying your a shifter?" said one that overheard me anyway.
"No, but my friend is one."
They started laughing. "Dragon, friends with shapeshifters? Give me a break! It was a shifter that put us all in this position! It was a shifter that made us all the humans pets, the human's slaves!"
I stared at them for a moment. What are they talking about?
"Please, just ignore them," The older dragon said. "Please answer my second question, if you will."
"Well, I--" I stopped talking. Footsteps were coming up the stone hall, coming towards our cage. All the dragons began cowering and backing into the shadows of the cell.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"It's the Master," they hissed quietly. "The Master."

*kain walks up to somone and looks down at them and sais*
K: hey could you tell me were i am?

*Random person Kain walked up to*
"You're in the City of Fayne, silly. If you didn't know that you should go check in at that building." *points towards a building. Pulls at a chain in his hand* "Come along, Dars!" *little brown dragon follows*

K: hey why do you have a pet dragon?

When Garth left, I tried reaching Drey in my mind, but instead I found someone closer. It was so familiar, but yet so strange. Suddenly, I recognized his aura. Kain, if you can hear me, is that you? I mindspoke to him. If he could hear me, then at least I'd have someone to help me find Drey. I just hoped that he would listen this time...

K: huh wha seth is that you?

I almost jumped for joy. The more allies, the better. Yeah, it's me. Listen Kain. This world is really screwed up. The people here treat dragons as pets, and Shapeshifters as gods. It's good for me, but I just hate it. They've already captured Dreyden. You think you could help? "Just don't do anything stupid." I muttered to myself.

K: shapeshifters as gods and dragons as slaves huh i wonder how they would treat a lycan oh well dont worry i'll get right on it
*kain sniffed the air and falowed dreydens scent to the building he was being held in*
K: i guess this is it
*kain walks up and knocks*

The dragons jumped when they heard a sound. I just kept staring up at the person they had all called "the Master." He looked vaguely familiar...
One of the guards men banged against the cages. "Out of the shadows! show yourself and bow to the Master!"
The poor creatures trembled and obeyed. Hot rage began clawing its way up inside of me.
The Master strutted down the aisle, looking bored. I couldn't help glaring; this guy... he's the one allowing all this...
He passed our cage with a glance, then double-backed, staring at me. "Guardman, why is there a person in there?"
The one he addressed glanced at me. "The, um, guards said he showed positive on the scanners."
The Master rolled his eyes in annoyance. "He's probably another one of those 'Pro-dragon' people. Get him out of there."
They opened the cage and one of the guys came up to me. "All right, come on out."
"Don't touch me!" I growled. My anger had about reached it's peak.
The scanner he had in a holster at his waist suddenly came to life. It beep faster and faster until it busted.
Everyone stared, especially the Master guy.
"Bring him to me," he said, curiosity in his voice.

K: i guess i'll haft to break in
*kain kicks down the door and walks to the room were all the comotion was*
K: hey enyone down there!?

I recognize that voice. Kain...?
Two of the guards left, saying, "Excuse me sir! You are not authorized to be in here!" The rest came to grab me.
I put up more of a fight than i did before, managing to throw at least three off, but there were too many. All too soon they shoved me to my knees in hard restraints onto the ground before the guy call the Master.
"It's been a long time since there has been a dragon found in human form," he said, and put his hand to my forehead. "Let's see what you really look like."
All three of the other sides to me twitched simultaniously, and the mix didn't feel good. The guy was trying to force me into them all at once, and i didn't know how. A cry of pain escaped me, echoed by whines from the other dragons, and then the magician, Master, whatever the hell he is, yanked his hand back with a yelp of fright.
"What are you?!"

K: right now he's not your only problem!
*kain pushed the guard away ran up to the master and jumped and kicked him in the face with both feet sending him back and cracking the wall he then hoped up and helped drey up*
K: you alright?

I took Kain's hand, still gasping. "Yeah, thanks Kain. Good to see you again."
The guards rushed towards the Master in frenzied panic. The guy was somehow still conscious. Who are these people? What are they? I couldn't detect any abnormal scent.
The Master barked at them. "Don't get me! Catch that dragon!"
I looked at Kain. "Time to book it."

K: got it
*kain took off and they ran back to the center of town*
K: hey seth if your listening i got dreyden he's ok

As Kain contacted Seth, I glanced around the place and actually got a grasp of how bad this situation is. All around us, I saw humans with dragons. Chained dragons, like pets. Some of them seemed perfectly content. Some looked absolutely miserable.
"Just where are we?" I murmured outloud.

I gave a momentary start. Yeah, I'm fine, but we need to talk face-to-face. Where are you?

Ummm... I looked around me. I'm in a really tall, white building, the top floor. It's the only thin building out here.

I glanced around quickly, and spotted the building. On the top floor was a huge window overlooking the city.
Okay, I see you. On our way. By the way, nice room.
"We're heading that way," I told Kain, pointing towards the building.

Haha, very funny. I really feel awkward about this whole royalty thing, ya know. And I sat down adn waited for Drey and Kain.

*kain ran into the building and up the stairs*
K: hey seth!

OOC:Like to rush much, don't we?

I followed him, but going more cautiously. Passing some of the windows, I noticed I had a big purple bruise on my forehead. Okay, weird for two reasons; One that it was there, two it wasn't healing.

OOC: Kind of slow down just a little bit, Flames.

I stood up to great them. "Yo, guys. You all okay?"
