The Misadventures of Seth and Drey

I laughed. "That would be hilarious! Though if I were to hug Darcore, knowing him, he'd probably hug me back...then stick is claw through my chest to give me another upgrade." I shivered, remember all thirteen times he did that.

OOC: Cyrus probably woudnt know weather to kill Seth, push him away, or hug him back... then stab him when he's not looking

OOC: Actually no, at first, Cyrus would be all like, "WTF?", then he'd hug him back and probably be like, "You've accepted yourself as my son!" That would be when Seth leaps out of the way as a train comes by, and Cyrus will be all like, "That little son of *!" THAT would be a Cyrus and Seth father-to-son moment.

I just shook my head. So much for lightening up the mood...

Kira shook her head again at the kids and then turned her attention to Kain. "So wait...aren't you a lycan? I thought...?" She looked to me questioningly.
"Kain's kind of a special case. He's not like the lycans here."

K: guilty as charged

Garreth was suddenly standing next to Kain, completely dwarfed by him and staring up with a detirmined expression.
"Hey, are you strong?"

*Kain looks down at Garreth and smiles*

K: you could say that

I smiled. "Yeah, the dog's not a wimp... much."

He grinned. "Betcha your not stronger than my dad!"
I grimaced. "Garreth, please don't go getting me into any more fights..."

K: i could probably give him a good run for his money

I turned to Kain. "Are you picking a fight with Drey? That's already a bad move right there."

K: i'm not picking a fight with anybody. but i wouldnt mind a little skirmish or something since i missed the big fight

"Heh, yeah, you can count me out."

K: who didnt see that one coming

"Okay, okay, I really don't think a fight is good right now. I'm not exactly...recovered just yet."
Garreth looked disheartened. "Aw..."
I smiled and scuffed his hair. "Tell you what, I'll make it up to you by taking down Adriane later, hows that sound?"
He brightened up immediately. "Yessssss!" he pumped in victory. "Promise?"
"I'll probably get in trouble, but I promise," I laughed.
Garreth yelled and went to go tell the others, just as Darren suddenly appeared by my side.
"Well, it seems your freakish ability to recover energy has not gone away," he teased. "I have an assignment for you while you're still on this world. You're friends are welcome to join you," he said, nodded to Seth and Kain.

I sighed. "Great, another adventure. what is it now?"

K: hope we get to fight something

Darren nodded, and continued talking. "There's been a strange aura in a certain part of the Northern Woods. According to reports coming in, wild-life has almost drastically disappeared in this section," he brought up a mind-linked map. "And a lot of creatures, dragons included, that have wandered into there have gone missing. We don't know yet if it's something dangerous or if it's another portal in the Underground Remains, but we need to check it out nonetheless."
"And since I know the Underground the best, your sending me in the event it happens to be that," I said with a little smirk.
He nodded. "Good, you understand."
I glanced to the others. "Well? Sound like fun?"

"Oh, yeah, going to the Underground Remains? Sounds like a blast." I snapped sarcastically.

K: whatever

"Alright then." I transformed into my dragon form, which was only slightly harder to do than usual. "Let's go check it out."
"Be careful," Kira called, and hugged me around the snout, since that was all she could manage to hug. "Don't do anything reckless."
"When have I ever done anything reckless?" I grinned.
"Everytime," she scolded, but let go with a smile. She glanced to the others. "You boys be careful as well!"

I nodded. "Right, we'll try." I turned into my drake form and looked at Kain. "Hop on, furball."

*Kain glared at Seth but just ingored it and hoped on*

"Alright, then, follow me!" I took off into the air.
