I heard Drey's voice calling to me. I tried to answer, but the shadow was holding me back.
"Come now, my creation, do you not want to hear what I have to say?"
I whipped around and growled, "Yeah, all you're going to tell me is useless junk! You know very well I'm not XD001!"
He laughed. "Ah, Sora, you've always been so naive."
I growled and lunged at him, but instead of hitting him, I swung at air, and landed in... water?! What the heck?! Well, at least I could breathe, but still.
"XD001, you are my first creation that did not fail, besides the Disturbia. I want you back, but I see that you will refuse."
That's when I recognized the voice. "Sevukon!"
Sevukon laughed. "We will meet in the real world all in good time. But for now, enjoy your pathetic human life... Sora, XD001..."
"Wait!" I called, but he had already vanished. Instead, I just relaxed, and found myself falling deeper into the water, but it felt like I was drowning. Odd. I slowly opened my eyes, coming back to reality. I looked up at Drey. "What just happened?"

"You tell us, bud," i said in all seriousness.

I sat up, the pain still there but not as bad. "Sevukon is back, and he said he wanted me to return to him. He's the one that created my dark side." That was the truth, but I decided not to tell him the rest. Sevukon had told me to enjoy my pathetic human life, which meant... I was a human again. Not a Shapeshifter, a human. But I definatley didn't want to tell Drey about me, XD001, being the main key of light to open the Heart of Darkness. Isn't that a scary realization?

Kragis and I both tensed. "Great," i mumbled. "Will our enemies from the past ever stay down?" I REALY hoped that Darcore didn't somehow manage to survive...

I read Drey's thoughts and answered, "Sevukon is not the type that reborns others. You see, he was once trapped in a portal in order for Kropiecta to live in peace, but he somehow escaped. He's not dead, but he's not alive either. I don't think Darcore is back, but if he is, then Cyrus could be back, too." I looked at Drey and smiled. "Besides, they're our enemies. They're not supposed to stay down, nitwit."

K: would somone mind explaning to me what your talking about

OOC: a thousand years later you answer.

I glanced at him, then back at Seth. "Maybe we should tell him our stories."

I rolled my eyes. "Great. One more person who's gonna know our past." And a lycan, nontheless. I added bitterly to myself.

I just growled. "You first."

"Very well," i sighed. Kragis sat near me. "You want to tell him our background story?" he asked me.
"Considering he's already seen the Fury, might as well.
"Okay, where to begin...I guess I'll start straight with my old enemy. Where i came from, we had a sadistic alchemist by the name of Darcore Zeal. At the time, i didn't know who he was, so i had blindly and naively went to him for help. He ended up using me as an experiment to create the ultimate creature under his control. He had been doing this secretly for a while, but all his experiments ended up as failures."
Kragis cleared his throat. "Or half-failures," i corrected, "which is what Kragis is."
"As it turned out, my genes were what he needed to create a success. The result of that is what you saw earlier in me. After that he went public and started a sucessful chain of Furies. It wasn't until later when my sister died by his doing that i finally was able to turn myself around and fight against him. Of course, it wasn't easy turning around; it took a century before i had enough control to trust myself again."
"Darcore should be gone, considering i've seen him die at least twice now, obliterated the second time, but yeah. Now you know my story."
You're not going to tell him about that Koschei thing? Kragis asked me.
No. The Ancestors have positively assured me he is gone for good from this world.

K: i've been meaning to talk to you about somthing ever since i met you two i have felt a dark presance that just seems to hang around you two and i know it's not part off you i can sence it throu my devil slicer and every time i draw it it feels like it wants to turn on you two

"It's the darkness within us, and of our past. Not everyone is split in black and white; Seth and I are one of the few ballanced greys."

"Yeah, it really sucks. We weren't like this in the beginning. In the beginning, we were as pure of heart as we ever could be now."

"Well, you were at least. I wasn't so much to start with; more innocent and shunned than pure."

"Why am I not surprised?"

"Because you already know this, that's why," i said, even though i knew it was a rhetorical question.

I smirked. "Yeah, I actually read it in your mind before you told me."

K: alright alright well if you two are finished would you mind i asking whats with the new guy?

"Cool, I'm the new guy," Kragis said.
"This is Kragis Monroras," I explained. "He was my partner when we were still under Darcore's control. He...follows me around. A lot."
"24/7," he said.

K: ok i guess i'm done asking questions but might i ad it's time to go and we have missed out on sleeping tonight

I mearly shrugged. "Missing sleep's not really a problem for us."

K: well lucky you

"Yeah, I can last without sleeping for 10 years. I've lasted about 5 now. And, FYI, Kain, the new guy has a name, you know."
