The Flames of Glory

OOC: Oh, yeah, I'll enter Arossory as soon as I get his bio finished, which will be shortly.

I became alert at this. Anyone who'd had dreams would most likely have a key to something important. "Tell me then, about your dreams."

K: well i remember standing in a barren waist land covered in sand and i'm just standing there looking around and i can hear fant wispering that slowly grows louder i cant understand most of it becouse it's in some wierd language but what i can understand is when they say my name over and over then it stops then i hear somone else say my name behind me who sounds close i turn around and see the sunrise and up above the sun i can see a bright red star that still shines in the presence of the sun and then i see a dark shadow moves across the sky from the red star and starts to block out the sun then a long black feather flotes down infront of me and i pick it up then it bursts into flame and i see this wierd sighn than apears for a moment then i wake up and every time i try to draw the sighn i cant remember it

I went into deep thought about this. There was a legend about something that had to do with a dark shadow and a red star, but if I knew the sign... "You can't draw it, but can you remember what it looks like?"

K:i can remember it now but once i go to draw it i disapears it's like somthings stoping me. however i've done some studying and spoke to a few phsycologists and found a few things out the part with a barren waist land posibbly represents somthing to come and the feather i saw had the shape of and eagle feather but i'm not sure why it lit on fire and about the red star i couldnt find enething about stars that shine in the morning but the dark shadow covering the sun probably represents somthing with darkness blocking out the light

"But tell me what the marking looked like." I pursued.

K: give me a sec! *Kain consentrated* ..... well i see... a star.. a flaming star and i see.... five points

It took me a while before I figured it out. "The Flames of Glory..." I whispered.

OOC: it's not the flames of glory

OOC: Then what is it?

I concentrated my mind and went into Kain's. Hm, very interesting... I thought. I came out of concentration and looked at Kain. "Why does that marking look so familiar?"

OOC: you'l see also one important thing that marking was burne into each of the destroyed worlds so have Seths son mention it

K: who knows i've got other people resurching the dream as we speek

OOC: Ah, okay, I will.

I nodded. "Good, because I have a bad feeling these dreams mean something horrible's going to happen."

Personality: Arossory, or Aross for short, is luckily not as hotheaded as his father, but yet has the same kind heart. He is a bit shy, but has a generous personality. He’s constantly made fun of because his long hair makes him look like a short-haired girl, but just ignoring or finding comebacks for these rude comments are what make him strong emotionally.
Bio: After the destruction of Crystal City, Maia, Arossory’s mother, sent him to live with dragons, since he was a hybrid. The dragons of Ardon taught Aross in the way of the Shapeshifter, and then sent him to Kropiecta once he was old enough and before the Orcs took that world over. It wasn’t long after that crisis that Seth came to Kropiecta and finally met Arossory. Now, father and son live together, and Aross waits for the day when he will die and be reborn as the species he was meant to be. He was born with the element of Ice, but mastered Fire, which is the reason why he was named “Arossory”, since, in the Shapeshifter language, it means “Icefire”.

*one of the royal servants walks into the bar*

servant: you magesty could i speek with you for a moment

K: later i'm buisy

servant: but your magesty it's concerning the alfa project

*Kains eye's widend at first then he looked at Seth then just roled them*

K: well budy your welcome to stay as long as you wish but i've got stuff to atend to so i'll be seeing you. if you need enething just come find me at the throne room in the palace i practacly never leave the place

*Kain walks off*

I just blinked. "Okay..." Alpha project? What in the world is that? I wondered. It was then that I felt change in the atmosphere. Someon was opening a portal to this world.

Meanwhile...

Arossory landed on the ground with a thud. "Man, I hate world traveling..." he groaned while rubbing his head. It took him a while before he realized that he was on a world he'd never seen before.
"Oh, great, just perfect."

*meanwhile Kain was meating with some of his researchers to see what they had found out about his dream and s sertain somthing else*

K: well what do we have?

researcher: well we have found out a few more things about the dream but we have had a big break in the alfa project

K: realy let me see

*the researcher hands him some papers*

researcher: these are print offs of pages from several old books that seem to leave clues

*Kain skims threw the papers*

K: very good and what of the dream?

*the researcher leans forward and wispers a couple things to Kain*

K: hmm... i see

My keen senses led me to where the portal was opened. Who could it possibly be? Hopefully not Cyrus...
Suddenly, the scent of who came through started smelling familiar. I came into the clearing where I had landed not long ago, and there was Arossory, sitting on the ground with an astonished look on his face.
"Arossory?"
He turned and grinned at me. "Seems like I picked up the habit of falling on my head from you."
I laughed and went over to help him up. "So, what do you need, son?"
His smile faded. "I haven't found a cure for that sickness yet, but there are markings everywhere on the ruined worlds you could possibly look."
"Even in the toilets?" I asked sarcastically. Aross just glared at me. "Okay, sorry, but what does this marking look like?"
"This." he answered bluntly as a piece of paper was held in my face. My eyes widened when I noticed that it was the same mark that had appeared in Kain's dream.
"Not good. Come on, son, I want you to show that to somebody." He nodded, and we took off towards the palace.

*Kain had returned to the throne room and seemed to be lost in thought he couldnt believe what he was just told then sudenly Venesa apeared net to the throne*

V: hey whats u... whats wrong?

K: it's long story

V: about the dream?

K: yup... i'm not sure what to make of what i was just told

V: you should get some rest you've been working all day and it's almost sunset

K: sure just let me finish a few more papers

*Venesa disapears*

It was a while before we reached the throne room. "Hey Kain... What's wrong with you? You look down in the dumps."

K: just alot of stuff going on that doesnt seem good..... so enuf about my crumy day what happend with you

"Actually, Arossory just came and informed me that on the worlds that are in ruins, the marking of which you saw in your dream is engraved everywhere on those ruined lands."

*he quickly looked back up Kain was in shock and almost couldnt believe what he just heard*

K: what did you say!

Arossory stepped forward. "It's true. While Seth was gone to find a cure for the curse, I went to some of the destroyed worlds and saw that mark."

K: then... it's true!.... it's all true

"What's true?" I asked, getting a little anxious.

K: not all the details are clear but it's posible that this world is next to be destroyed. i just dont know by who or what

"Or when?" Arossory asked nervously.
